I kinda wondered. That's too bad. What else do you have with a SBC that you could use it on?

  3. The only time I saw a rotofaze under a hood, it was something like a 55 chevy. The only place I saw them was the drag strip. My area had many dual point units but I remember only 1 dual coil unit.

DSCF1188.JPG DSCF1189.JPG DSCF1190.JPG Moriarity, If you weren't going to run the tach drive I believe you could modify the dizzy and gain that 1" or more you need. I have modified a couple Spalding/Grant's to fit my needs.....................
What's that Aluminum spacer between the tach drive housing and dizzy caps, just a spacer or is there a reason for it?
    Here's a Ford 351 Cleveland I lowered 3 1/2" .

that spacer is the housing for the Mech advance mechanism.... can't really do without that.... If it wasn't a tach drive it may be lower but my corvette has a mech tach

Cool! Looks a bit "tall"; sure it'll fit under the low Corvette hood? I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Nope won’t fit. Here is a pic of the distributor in my other man a fre. One of the air cleaners on my car barely touches the bottom of the hood and this distributor is an inch higher....

Yeah, I just got it last weekend at the swap meet of the duck tail run in Indiana

  22. Please enlighten me, what is the advantage of the Roto Faze distributor? There’s no doubt that it’s way cool, and neat looking.

2 separate ignition systems, each for 4 cylinders. 2 coils, so more coil saturation time and thus a hotter spark

  27. Mr Moriarity,
Could you possibly show us a pic of the flamethrower with the top cap off, just to see how the Vac canister hooks up inside the unit?
    Much appreciated if you could.

  29. Thanks Moriarity,
Just trying to work out what the difference is between the Vac and non vac units(regarding the plates and mechanisms)
I am going to try and modify one of mine.
    Cheers for the reply.
