@lake_harley Lynn, the picture is from a car I was considering buying several years ago. The Model A tank is abandoned so I have to assume the gauges extend into it.

I favor a simple look. Functional stock tank still in place (I' don't use it, but it's there, intact and fully operational should I want to use it). 20150903_181817.jpg

Tank is gone, only shell remains wiring is in there. Billet dash insert and steering wheel adapter was crafted by the late Reed Lillard in mid 80's (Orange County, CA) rebuild. 29 roadster still on the road pretty much as I did it in 64.

30 Pick up with 57 Olds speedo. Speedo intrudes into stock tank so it’s decommissioned. Little bit unrefined with early hemi needing more tank capacity anyway. 5868ADC5-5D3A-49CE-9463-D673266C5CA4.jpeg

I wanted to keep the cowl gas tank but update the electrics.

Mine has several old SW gauges, a couple of new ones, a banjo wheel of unknown origin, and a piece of birdseye maple over the top. 36E0E9F5-0715-40B7-9E7C-94B972CEF367.jpeg
