I could not find the rims I wanted 4.5”x15” 5on5 lug pattern so I took a set of 6” wide and cut them down.

Changed from bags to coil overs

There were a bunch of changes done away with the 2x4 rails and use 32 rails instead

    [IMG][IMG]

It was a lot more work but it look better setting over the 32 rails 4”

I’m wind up with 5.5” ground clearance

Here it’s at ride heights but the tire are 3” off the ground

Coil over bracket are mounted a little different but it fits

I will have 3 master cylinder 2 for brakes 1 for the clutch

Not my favorite location but you have to have a battery only have a 1” bump to make it work

Everything I am doing is to keep ever inch of interior room I’m 6’1” and 359# so room is nessary [IMG]

  8. i had some fender well exit headers made for a pickup .see in my avatar. and they look good stuck out a little farther then I liked. and lets admit it not very practical.

    ma12.jpg

so figured I would just run the cast iron one that worked till i mounted the gear box .

    ma1.jpg

    so now its either:
custom build headers very time consuming
a set of lake pipes. easy to build and $169
or a set of cast iron ram manifolds $390
looking like a set of lake pipes. seen on ebay set of lake pips for sbc are only $100 wonder if i could cut the flange off and make them work on a yblock?

  10. I did not like the sharp edge on the wheel well so bent some tubing and split it in half to make a bead . Took several hr to weld each side but it dressed it up .
Along with the ready of the theam of using left overs it looks like the car will be yellow and the bead work green. Not sure I will like it but the paint is a very good quality and best of all it’s free F8A10086-3E01-471A-8CD6-BEB9D7701D21.jpeg F8A10086-3E01-471A-8CD6-BEB9D7701D21.jpeg 0605CE87-A310-46DF-BBB0-A96B62F7FFFB.jpeg 51DF0DE1-06FC-4EBB-A438-3E2C7FD54AD0.jpeg DCDE4BB6-CFE3-4743-B903-B7885FE3042D.jpeg B6B7BA79-6311-4796-9225-CA85AACF3BAC.jpeg A387709C-81E7-41E7-BD1E-9BA1765695F3.jpeg 896B62E9-59FA-4D1B-9DBA-C8CC112D4351.jpeg 29CBAB90-7610-4D46-BFE7-27EC5BABEDE2.jpeg 94FFFCAB-55FE-45A5-AC2A-8A3EDAE84267.jpeg 045F4EC9-8E73-4D71-B871-FA76FA9398B3.jpeg ACD7D9ED-F21D-405B-A8AA-6C6DFBF5B27C.jpeg 0AF6A71D-4BC3-4449-870A-3C3F51B8339B.jpeg
I always start with dynaglass or something similar over all welds it does not absorb moisture like bondo does

I like yellow - some of them. When u park on grass or next to green, to my exes some yellow seems to pick up greenish tint - do not like. I use Caterpillar yellow, close to school bus yellow, both a little darker. To my eyes anyway. & Cat paint is cheap
