Technical Inlet thread size - Rochester 2Jet

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by blackjack, Oct 3, 2020.

  1. I need to fit a 3/8 or 10mm hose tail to this inlet. Anyone know the likely size of the internal thread. Looks very close to 5/8 UNC but probably some sort of pipe thread.

Imperial and US fittings getting more difficult to find over here these days.

    Thanks IMG_20201003_114433547.jpeg IMG_20201003_114454034.jpeg

Do you mean the thread in the carb body, or the steel adapter screwed into it? If the steel adapter, the line connection would be a 5/16 inverted flare. In the US we can buy a fitting that's hose barb on one end and inverted flare on the other.

  4. Thanks guys. Found it on the Quadrajet website. Got someone on this side of the Atlantic who can source one.
