Picked these us at the swap last weekend. Not real familiar with QCs at all, maybe someone can shed some more info. I have done some research, is the large a WC80? I know it uses 3/4 ton parts. The large cover is the only I have seen like it. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
big cover is what Franklin called their"super speedway" cover-pretty common. lower QC,can't tell the brand, but it's fairly recent-shifter case, inboard brake mount etc{open tube axle, for sprint car]
Large cover hold more lube to run cooler. I just found one for our Bonneville roadster. That Frankland cover looks cooler than the more common Speedway Engineering one like I have.
When I saw the big cover I had to have it. Ended up just buying the whole package. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Is that the billet alum piece on the bottom of the small one? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Yes, and looking at it that piece is integrated with that particular rearend. Most run off the back cover, that one must run off the side of the lower gear? Nice setup
Yes, the big cover was for extra lube. Ever change QC gears at a race track? They get pretty hot just running a 10 lap heat race.
