Spent the afternoon wandering the swap meet with money in my pocket and didn't buy anything. I'm proud of myself.
I live nearby the show and it is great to see all the old cars in town. They out number the newer stuff.

I think the bigger question Mark is which one of the fleet did you decide to exercise? :D

That is one of the wildest things I have ever seen. I bet I walked around it a dozen times. Moriarity! That belongs in your collection. Would it fit in the house? He has had that for a long time. It is in the same spot every year. I can tell he has been working on it. Can you imagine turning that thing loose?

I'll bet I haven't been there in over 30 years! Might have to make that trip again someday. I used to like the Duck Run better then James Dean. Gene

Is it the skill of the photographer avoiding people , there seems to not be many folk walking around.
    Thanks for sharing .

I use to live near there, always a great show. I would be there this year but going.to a Mopar meet tomorrow. If you want a real treat drive to Upland, about 15 mins from Gas City and go to a place called Ivanhoe. Incredible tenderloin sandwiches (Indiana is famous for their tenderloins) fries Onion rings and ice cream and shakes. Been there since the 50s. Other hot rodders will likely be there too.

Thanks for the pics. The Duck Tail Run and swap meet are a good time. Usually lots of good finds. The James Dean in Fairmount is just plain cool. With all the Mercs and history in that small town. Maybe next year I'll be back.
