Can't believe I didn't see one pic of Ohio's George Montgomery. Probably the winningest of all Willy's throughout the years.

@Wush I haven't found the '33-'36 Willys thread yet. I'm thinking it's more then a few pages back.

  14. Beautiful photo of my favorite AA/GS Willys. Too bad it got wadded up just as it was building a reputation.

  15. Dean,
That photo is of the Chizler too. The first car that crashed didn't have a filled roof. The Bones, Dubach and Pisano "Chizler too" is in Hawaii and has been since Gary Dubach sold it to the two brothers that raced it over there. My good friend Dave Davis of Gasser Wars Magazine did an article for the magazine on one of his hawaiian trips back in 2017. Not allowed to show most of the pics he took but here's a few from the article. Other than the engine and B&M Hydro its pretty much all there as last raced by Bones for Gary.

Me. The push of shame! Busted throttle cable. Next race was throttle linkage equipped.

Some photos I took a long time ago at a Seattle Nostalgia race. I seem to recall a stocker model 77 Willys truck being used as a tow rig for the Bizio machine. The Coonrod car was always a favorite, these cars were being changed up quite a bit around this time frame, big rear wheels, raised rear fenders, and wings, this was one of the cars that this was happening to, pretty sure the car has been restored. Orange car, I know nothing. bizio2 (2).jpg jcwilllys1 (2).jpg orngwillys1 (2).jpg . Orange car, I know nothing?

Could it have maybe been this one ? The green truck was painted after this picture was taken.
