Can anyone tell me what year this gas pedal is? It says “Tiffany aluminum products St Louis” on the back. I can’t find a thing about this company image.jpg 4E50EBF2-FB24-4EC4-AAA3-031BB1EB9E80.jpeg

  2. Looks like a drum pedal

  3. Wouldn't be the first one used in a car....

  4. Not a drum pedal. I have lots of those. I also have this same pedal in my collection. They were aftermarket, made in the ‘30s as near as I can tell. I’m sure someone will be along soon to correct me. :)

Thanks for the info. I have not found another one online. I figured it was pretty old.

There were plenty of jazz and blues bands back in the '30s..... Especially in St. Louis.... ;)

The one in this photo is an original Fulton. The OP's looks like a similar pedal used on an A .

It could be industrial. Some old TIG welders had really cool foot pedals.

There was a Tiffany Stand Company incorporated in St Louis in 1946. It changed its name to Tiffany Metal Products Manufacturing Company and then changed to Tiffany Industries Inc. It looks like it merged with another company in 1986 and the Tiffany name disappeared. Not sure if this is the same Tiffany company that is on your pedal but it may be another clue for you to research. https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_mo/00069122
