Hello. I picked up this Diamond T,it's a 58-49 702 series I think. I've only seen Flying Brian's on here.. What's the hamb think of them?
Those were a Premium Truck in their day.The dash and the header panel are a work of art.To call it OT seems a little short sighted.I would love to see what Jeems could pen up.
Diamond T's are cool ! I am the same how to be OT? Pre 65 and NOT a import, How can you say this truck isnt sexy..
An extended or super cab version of the blue one would be realy cool. It would give more room in the cab & shorten the bed, giving it a WOW factor........probably more nonsense than .02 cents.....but.....
Cool. Yay. The headlights are already lowered. You're halfway there. That leaves you enough time to extend the cab a little, weld on the rear end of an old Mopar or something to make it a big fat coupe, and build a chopped Cabriolet roof. Good luck with it, flattie!
Cool looking truck, I always thought the diamond T’s made really slick rigs and trucks in there day. good enough for spider mike in convoy ! I dig it!
I'm going to a truck show in Perris, CA today. I'm sure they'll be a couple there. I'll snap a couple of photos for ya. This one might be there but I'm sure there will be some smaller ones as well.
I’ve always like the Diamond T’s , stick that cab on Cummins Dodge chassis and keep on truckin Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The cab and trim are a work of art. I'm thinking 1 ton pick up in the future. The grille is does not belong on this truck,it's for a smaller truck but I will try to make it fit and look good.
It's a yay from me, with good body works and finishing it will come out dazzling Sent from my 5085Y using Tapatalk
I'm a big fan of this Art-Deco kind of stylin' I want 1 to pull a trailer. This is 1 being built by a fellow hamber out in CA.
Yes from me . It looks like good bones for a project. Trucks 2 ton and larger are OT (off topic ) on the main board. I had pictures of my 1 1/2 ton 42 Chevy deleted off the main board. That's how I know . I didn't point out that the truck was a 1 1/2ton . The moderators can get testy. 1 1/2 ton trucks and larger are welcome here on the Antiquated
I'm a fan of big trucks, hence my screen name 5150 (CA W&I code for crazy and 4 bat (big ass trucks). I understand no large trucks on the main board. I wish it wasn't the case but not my site, not my rules. I'd kill for a short wheel base 39-47 Ford COE but I don't think a divorce is a good idea right now.
Mine the rendering above is useing the stock frame, and but all suspension from 1 ton square body dually, so it’s a 1 ton.
Beautiful trucks... I like the grille and swoopy fenders on the earlier models but I like the cab and window openings on mine...it looks chopped already
