Pint size hot rod build thread

It’s a 1956 garton I built for my grandson. The only thing I farmed out was the paint, I couldn’t help myself I had to build him something. I think he likes it.

 

I am old but still like pedal cars, would you like to adopt a 69 year old grandson?

 

That is just the"Cats whiskers".Bet the little fella just loves it.

I always wanted one as a kid and never had one,so now I want my grandkids to have them.

 

Great job Bill. My first car was a 1956 Garton. Your grandson's smile really says that he Loves it. He'll probably pass it down to his grandson one day.

Seems like there is a small window when kids can use a pedal car. From the age they figure out how to pedal, till when their legs don’t fit in the car any more. The early ones (1920’s & 30’s), have more leg room...by the 50’s not so much.
