Projects I think my project is now a custom

    can anyone identify these hubcaps? I could only find three of them they're 15"

    50-53 Oldsmobile I believe, most commonly referred to as 1950 though. Great looking caps, very appropriate for a custom car.

    Come on over to the custom car side! Lots of early customs were hot performers as well, no reason you can't have both.

    I have a pretty tight budget so it'll be on the fence. I just really like that clean smooth look without getting too wild.

    50-53??? Olds as has been stated.
    A great alternative to the very expensive Cadillac Sombreros.
    I'm using them on my latest custom too.

    Since you only have 3, run 2 on the front, skirts, and make a taildragger. You don't need a 4th.

  9. I'm also partial to those Olds Hubcaps. Another advantage over the cadillac somberos is that you can use standard wheels because they are not so deep.
