That is a beautiful car. I have only seen one other 56 Nomad in that color combo and that was in my hometown of Tulsa back in the early 70s.
I must confess, I have not been totally honest with you all. For some time now, several years in fact, I have been a Nomad owner. I don't use it often, but not a day goes by that it does not get my attention.
I dont have anything to add other than I was scrolling and thought this thread was titled "nonads" I stopped to make sure you guys were OK bicycles are dangerous
I know it's a Nomad thread! There is one behind the MG that we used as a tow car. 6cyl PG w/factory AC. There wasn't too many big hills we had to climb. Picture is at Dover circa 64. Pat
Yes they did, this particular one did not have AC but my friend found a 57 with factory air and installed it in this Nomad. It looked like it belonged there. Pat
1956’s are my favorite Tri-5 Chevys of any body style, including Nomads. Maybe it was mentioned and I missed it, why is the 55 Nomad rear wheel opening different than any other Nomad or any other Tri-5?
