    I know. Painful, in fact.

I've owned several Nomads in the past. This was last one and have regretted ever selling her.

That is a beautiful car. I have only seen one other 56 Nomad in that color combo and that was in my hometown of Tulsa back in the early 70s.

Yep, that is sweet. How could you ever sell it?

I must confess, I have not been totally honest with you all.

For some time now, several years in fact, I have been a Nomad owner. I don't use it often, but not a day goes by that it does not get my attention.

Anyone know if these plaques are for a Nomad club in Arizona?

I know it's a Nomad thread! There is one behind the MG that we used as a tow car. 6cyl PG w/factory AC. There wasn't too many big hills we had to climb. Picture is at Dover circa 64.

Did Nomads come with 6 cylinder engines?

Yes they did, this particular one did not have AC but my friend found a 57 with factory air and installed it in this Nomad. It looked like it belonged there.

1956’s are my favorite Tri-5 Chevys of any body style, including Nomads. Maybe it was mentioned and I missed it, why is the 55 Nomad rear wheel opening different than any other Nomad or any other Tri-5?
