Buttoned up my new roadster engine, getting ready for RPM Nationals.

 

I’m soon to be getting a new tonneau cover for my F-100 (late birthday present). The old one is shot to hell. i should also mention the darn thing shrank on me after all these years.

finally got around to the turn signals in the '27 roadster.
I mounted the switch when the car first got on the road but never bothered to get them going.
I found a pair of crusty cowl lights, cleaned them up, put some single filament amber bulbs in them, made brackets to mount them and bolted them to the frame horns.
ran a bunch of wire and BAM! turn signals..

 

Holy Crap! thought I was gonna havta tow that thing to San Diego to make any progress!

 

Flipped the coupe body on its side so I can prep and paint the underside.

Bolted my S100 back together, first time is 6+ years that it has resembled a truck.

 

I like that binder...

Updated another part on my 56. Was made for a T-bird; didn’t really fit out of the box. Wiring was the best part and keeping the i-did-it light.

 

I helped a couple buddies of mine with this T coupe. Soon it will live on as part of a speedster.

Made a battery cover out of a cheapo marine box; had to settle for a pasteboard cover since someone left the piece of ABS sitting on the porch before heading up to the garage. Started making some glass patterns for the front. Did a little trimming on Mike's mystery radiator; funny how stuff fits before everything around it is painted.

 

Making new bottoms for my stake pockets. Still have some grinding to do but I think they're going to turn out ok.

 

Spent the day roughing in my trans cooler mounts and getting started on some throttle linkage.

Got on the stupid Facebook market place and a 20 minute ride later I come home with these.

All Imperial brand ranging form 1/4 to 7/8 inch.

 

Sprayed some guide coat and sanded a bit on the trunk lid for my '47, then did science Friday with Ardun, and ended up the day deer hunting with my pick-up after dropping her off at Jeff's.

 

Went to Truck Shop in Orange,Ca. and dropped $700.00 on parts needed.

Went to a garage sale today. The guy literally had four barns full of engines, flathead parts, old hubcaps, lots of wheels and tires. I had been kicking myself about selling my back window trim so I got another piece and some nice Olds hubcaps

Got the left front brakes togather on the 65 Merc.

 

Out with old, in with new.

 

Worked on my throttle linkage, I have it working like I want it. now to finish it up. I have to stiffen the firewall (wheelbarrow tub) and extend the piece for your foot a couple inches, so I still have a ways to go.
