This is NOT the same building as the one just prior, its a different corner in Longview Washington.
BOTH buildings are STILL there with a few changes,

Ummmm, same pic. Even the same guy by the car. This is 12th & Hudson. I'm trying to think of which other dealership you're thinking of, but I'm drawing a blank.

If anyone has a photo of "Central Motors" of Jefferson, Iowa, I would appreciate seeing it. My 1948 Plymouth was originally sold there when new.

As a retired brick and stone mason I not only enjoy seeing the cars but many of buildings designs and craftsmanship make the presence of the cars secondary.
The towns and cities that have repurposed these buildings if possible are preserving a place in time we’ll never experience again.

Mason Motors Longview. That building still has one of those wood ramps that they would drive cars on to the second floor. There is another in town with the old ramp but I don't have a "vintage" photo of it.

In 2018 went to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum and it has been restored into the Art Deco period. The first picture is an old one the others as it was in 2018. P1060440 (Medium).jpeg P1060286.JPG P1060416 (Medium).jpeg P1060431 (Medium).jpeg

Oh, I misread your post. Yeah, this is Fred Hess Motors. He sold out to Mason some time in the 30s. I didn't recognize it. The drive through for the gas pumps was walled in and the building stuccoed before my time. Its even worse today.
