Hello, a friend of mine is the new proud owner of this 57 Ranchero custom and we are looking for some help on finding out the history of this car. The car was owned by Richard Spenger from Sacramento, Ca. and later in Reno, Nevada. His family has no information about the car other than one of them said it orginally had a Hemi. The car is a 57 Ranchero with a 1960ish T-bird grill and headlights grafted on, 63 fairlane tail light lens. It has a Crysler 413, 3 speed automatic and a Dana 60. There is also a sticker on the windshield from Cruses Customs. thank you. rob
Love 60 T-Birds.....i'd call it a T-Birdchero.......Rancherbird ???? Anyhoo, i LIKE it ! Now, lets put a Lincoln motor in it....oh, & with tripple carbs......that option was offered in 60 T-birds. I drove one.......
I like both Rancheros and T-Birds, so I really like this. Looks like all you need to do is figure out what kind of horsepower to add. Have Fun, Carp.
