Thanks for posting the video. Something to be proud of. Both the kid, and the pickup for him.

2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Voodoo Blue. Color Code 8T6. Probably way more info than you wanted.

Have to say I wasn't too sure about the color choice at first but seeing it finished I'll be the first to admit I was dead wrong.
That truck looks fantastic. Nice work guys.

That was all Colby. He said he wanted it the color of my Miller welders. I got on the HAMB and asked for a similar color and within a couple hours, 2007 Toyota Voodoo blue appeared, btw the color code is 8T6, for those who are curious. I always hate trying to find colors by the name.

It’s from a place called cup holders plus.

I was pulling outta Braums Thursday morning and seen him heading to school. Sure is nice to know that the school parking lot isn't full of all late models.

He's changed the wheels. He is a typical 17 year old, wanting the cool mags. He put a set of Torque Thrusts on it. It looks ok, but I prefer the WWW.

I got one from them too. They sent three different but very similar colors. My seat is stock but we removed the springs and replaced with plywood backer and modern foam contoured to my taste.

Console matches plenty good enough for me. VERY happy with it.

Colby came over last weekend to help out and he just rolled 10,000 miles since we finished the truck. Everyone within a 30 mile radius has seen him. He's not afraid to drive it.

  19. He's doing it right. Man, if I had a HAMB friendly vehicle that could haul around all 6 of us, I'd do it to.

Watching the video brought back memories of my 58 build, no doubt it was a great experience for the young man. He did a fine job!

He's taking auto body in vo-tech. He texted me this morning and one of the local restration shops is looking at him for a summer hire.
