Traditionally styled (by U.S. standards) customs can't be all that common in France...or Europe, in general. I imagine this beauty garners a lot of curious stares out on the road!
Oh yes! unfortunately kustom is rare in France.. people say she’s an american car! (they’re not really wrong!)
A lot of people in France think that a car with a lot of chrome is an American car. Then again we don't see them often. I'm restoring a 36 chevy 2dr sedan, just the shell, people think it's a Citroën traction avant, even people who are into cars...
I just found out that the guy who is sandblasting for our shop is one of your neighbors. Small world.
Hey, VEDETTE, do you know anybody over there with a '49-'51 Mercury (stock or custom? I'd love to see a photo shoot of one next to your car!
Eddy Torres has the red one that was chopped in the late 80's early 90's, I worked on it as a helper in the late 90's when it was changed to flat black with blue pearl. Last time I saw Eddy if I recall he was getting ready to change the color. Probably a 2 1/2 hour drive from you.
Oui je sais.. il devrait en faire un kustom de la muerte! l'ex a Dingo.. que j'avais appellé lors de sa vente! mais il s'etait trompé de chiffre!
I finally did the rear bumper! This is Goooood! "Redesigned" bumper, Nomad chevy guards shortened (removal of plate lights) and simple exhaust outlets.
