Hot Rods 8Ba and 1BA

    So what was the difference? Why cast the same block with different codes. The 8BA was like 1949-1953 while the 0Ba, 1ba, 2BA were being made?

    The block casting remains the same, the features change, valves, heads, cams, ect.
    Hence the I.D. change.
