Technical HELP 1948 Chevy Truck missing parts?

I am trying to put together a truck and I think I may be missing some parts.
I know I need a hood latch and a grill but is the grill the only thing that holds up the front of the plate the hood latch goes in or is something missing?

Thanks it only shows the grill I don't have a grill yet it must be the grill is made heavy enough to slam the hood and not bend.

 

You need the grille, lower grille support (splash shield) and the left and right fender supports.

 

are the fender supports your talking about the ones that hook to the radiator support on one end and the wheel well on the other?
