What's the deal with wandering around goose lake looking for parts, can anyone wander around?

How about French lake, I have been there for years, but we could wander around then.

 

I can't think of any junk yards that were around when I was a teenager that are still around.
We have on yard still in town that is under the 4th owner since I was a teen, but I suspect not much old stuff is still there. The current owner is pretty proud of the junk there that has been under water nearly every spring the last few years. They have a lot of newer stuff, but they won't let you in the yard, and they are not in a big hurry to take something off a car for you. They are scrappers and right now the pile keeps growing, until scrap gets high again, then they will haul out load after load, like they did the last time scrap was up.
