Oldie but goodie and service outfits say the U joint is no longer available. Anyone got a junker they would strip? This joint was used on a whole bunch of models for over 20 years.
Can it be repaired?,I had to weld the one on my 1977 vintage blackhawk built sears jack. I spent more repairing that jack then it cost new as I used to drag it around in the gravel driveway, the cylinder was destroyed but I did not want to throw it away so I repaired it and not it does not leave the garage as I got a 99 dollar sears china made jack for use in the driveway. Contact Lew Snellgrove at [email protected] or visit web site at www.blackhawkparts.com I have gotten parts for my 30+ year old walker there.
I talked to him last week. Said he didnt even have one out on a junker. Got a few 3.5 ton imports for daily work, no problems with them in about 4-5 years.. The Walker is a 4T and the only one with enough reach to get under my box truck. Suppose I can use pliers under there to let it down once the wheels are back on; loads of clearance.
