Can a Model A headlight bar be cut and welded to mount on a frame on an A like a 32 bar?

I used one on mine. Whacked the ends off, applied some heat and bent them around. Bolted to the frame.

Was the bar long enough to weld the left over bar between the 2 mounts like we do with a 32 bar? Thanks

It depends on how you tweak the bar. Lots of variables there but in short, yeah it should work with just as much effort as making a 32 bar work

Ahh, yes but I cut on the wrong side of the cup to use the center section. I actually just picked up another bar so that I can do it again and have a spreader in between the ends. The lights shake quite a lot just hanging out there.
