I signed up a while ago on the HAMB, but just recently bought a 1941 Ford Pickup. It's a 1950's style hot rod and I plan to keep the same vibe as the original owner intended. He worked on restoring it from sitting in a chicken coup to what you see now for 5 years, but then let it sit for 2 years unfinished after he got tired of working on it.

It needs some refreshing, but nothing major. I just finished a 10 year restoration on a 68 Mustang coupe and sold it to buy this, so I've got plenty of questions and not much knowledge about these trucks. I plan to change that.

Very nice. I don't see any side mirrors. Plan on adding any? Show us a few more pictures.

    That's a very nice truck.
My opinion on these and really any early V8 is to have realistic expectations. They are what they are and what they are ain't bad.

Thanks for the replies. Regretfully, the more I dig into it the more problems I find. Front shocks were bottomed out, the motor was setup all wrong and now the electric fan doesn't work. Still not on the road after two weeks, but I'm determined to get it running and reliable.
