    Hello -
First let me say this site is awesome with great source of information and access to like minded folks with interests in cool older cars - thank you.

I have had several cars in the past and always end up back with the older cars and now am enjoying my latest toy - a 1931 Dodge Coupe powered by a 315 Hemi. I am finally joining the site so I can share stories of my ride and more importantly would like to continue to learn for everyone on here - plus your classified section is a great source of parts.

Would love to hear back from anyone with a history on the 31 era Dodges as well as with the 315 hemi as I am finding information is very limited.

Looking forward to enjoying your site - Thanks

  8. Your 1931 looks to be the late year model since it used to have three hinges on the door. The early version had two. What parts are you looking for? 1467489_10201964512253365_1450239591_n.jpg post-81542-0-56577900-1441483744.jpg

Thanks for your pictures - so cool you still own your original. I believe when the chopped the time the section with the hinge got removed - that is what they guy I bought it from said - I will have to compare to your pictures. I have only had the car 2 weeks so I am still learning about it lol. I used to have 31 Model A and information and parts were easy to investigate - this one not so much so. Did they offer a swing open front window, I had that on my Ford and it made it comfortable to drive - also the guy who built it removed the cowl vents for some dumb reason. As for parts, my front grill is shot and there is no door glass so they would be two things I would like to fix.

Thanks again for your time and response.
