MVIMG_20200812_194156.jpg MVIMG_20200812_194712.jpg I'm adding a few pics of a car that I am involved with putting together, and thought some of you might enjoy seeing the crazy 60's paint job on it.
It's a 31 Model A, not chopped, but channeled. Flathead, 3 speed. Straight axle.
    more of a '60s custom...
    Lace on the dash..

I've,always appreciated the skill involved and the look of that style of painting. Don't know if I'd want one but they sure do look cool on th right vehicle...

This is my Brother in Law's car. He likes the 60s style show cars, and has been putting this together. we did NOT paint this, BIL found an Artist that shared his vision, and was delighted to work on a project like this.
you either love or hate it, I get that, but MAN, the quality of this paint job is unreal, and I thought I (with permission) would share it here.
Some of the pics are after the clear has been applied, some are 'in progress"

Too bad that about half of the pictures won't show up in full size so I can see them! Edit: Thanks for reposting them as full size images!

(monday)The paint guy called and said "You need to come get your car, NOW"
he was not 100% finished on polishing it, but a wind storm smashed his garage.
THANKFULLY, no damage to the Model A

  27. Truly "one off" paint job..cool.
Hope the painter can get his shop/garage back in order without too much trouble..he really needs to be able to continue his craft with those kind of skills.
