Event Coverage Ghost Rods Vintage Drag Meet at Wisconsin International Raceway

Your poster should include a town so non-locals can find your event without having to do a lot of searching.

Dad and I are planning to make a trip up there with these two.

 

I did a GoogleMaps.Com search for "Wisconsin International Raceway"; that's a huge, multi-use facility. Looks to be a nice setup with several different tracks. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

 

Is this the inaugural event? Sounds like a good time.

 

Been mostly local guys in past, I think this is the first serious attempt to expand it this year by Dan and Steve Lau.
promoting it with a Flyer. I have been at this event in the past as a spectator when it was called
Ghost Rods Barn Door Bash. If any one know more about its history please chime in.

Grenade d Tickety Boos converter at the 2018 Fall Out drags, just got it back together and hoping to make this event.

 

Hopefully this 60 Chevy will be there, his local track.

Wow was just checking this thread out when I noticed it was located in Outagamie County..I was on the USS Outagamie County LST 1073 Dec 65 to July 66.

Overall beautiful weather and a good time with a few buddies. A few random pics . . . seems I always mean to take more but it doesn't happen and I kinda suck at taking pictures. I have a few video's but need to get them off my phone etc.

 

Dad and i had a great time racing and hanging out at Ghost Rods vintage drags yesterday. The Dodge ran the quickest and fastest pass to date, the ing an 11.96 @ 109 mph.
