Technical 37-38 flathead v8 21 stud

  1. Is there any interest in these engines? Worth saving?

    I'm sure someone will want them. If you weren't so far away I'd take them. Isn't always the way.

  4. There should be a market for it over on Fordbarn. Ford actually made block-off plates to cover the water pump holes in the front of the block. They frequently show up on EBAY. Once the block-off plates are installed all of the bolt-ons from 1932 through 1936 will go right on. You end with an engine with insert bearings (instead of babbit) that looks like a correct engine for a 1932 through 1936 Ford to all but an expert that knows to look for.

    The one block has the block off plates. I plan to keep those.
