Time marches on. Shoot, I'm even nostalgic for the 80s these days. What do you guys think?

It's Ryan's place and his decision.

Agreed! But there is lively discussion potential here.

  7. It's all about style, and while some later builds will qualify, many won't. Wide ovals, IRS/IFS, turbos, early billet just don't have the right look.

all the polls in the world will not get @Ryan to change the guidelines of the site.....

Well look what NSRA has done. It's 1990 and older, if you like looking at 90 Suburbans and Blazers Ford F150 work trucks than have at it. It's all about the money with them.

I hope the poll doesn't come off as trying to alter the guidelines. I just thought it would be fun to hear what people do and don't about like the post 64 era rods.
A lot of nostalgic 40s-50s hamb friendly builds here really look like 2020 to me. And that's not a put down at all. TIG welding, T5 transmissions, higher building standards and safety across the board- those things have made rodding better no doubt.

Maybe you should start a site for just those cars. '65 to '80. I would join it. I like them too but are apples and oranges to me. Like the difference between American Graffiti and Fast and Furious.

I hope places like the HAMB will always be around where the old veterans can get together and remember the old times and the younger people can benefit from that knowledge.

If I'm undermining that I would close this poll down in a heartbeat.

Those cars have been sneaking in the HAMB a lot anyhow, but maybe it should just stay a grey area.

That stuff was really late 70s right? I agree, the easter egg paint and billet stuff needs a few decades or forever to RIP
