I will be driving my 1973 Mercury Marquis to Jeff and Jen Karls Quasar Drive Inn, with 17 people hiding in its huge trunk.

 

Great show gang, Nebraska boys Jigger and 2nd Chance posting up some excellent stuff. Every post is the best!

You are very welcome. My avatar is my own 47 Dodge, 3 window business coupe. The red one was for sale down at the Portland swap meet a few years ago, so even though I am a bit biased towards these great MOPAR'S, I could not resist shooting a few shots of how cool this car looked. They are pure "art deco " in my opinion, and they have a great " fat ass " trunk that is huge inside. An all new meaning to the term " Baby's got back ".

 

Undated, probably circa 1965 when I was about 12 years old. The idea was to maximize traction with all weight on the four slicks. Steering would have been like a skid steer: braking one side or the other.

 

Hmmmmm..... could be..... I shall remain mum on the subject... ( she doesn’t know anything about this so... you too must remain mum)

 

This is the ‘other’ car 54 or, possibly, the answer tho the question... Lol!
I will have to do a Brooklyn patrol car but in a similar setting...

Helped my grandson paint his Corvette gasser this week. He still wants to add lights, headers,and a Moon tank. It also has a mower deck, and small snow blade. It's not perfect but fun for cruising the back yard.
