That just goes to show that living on paved streets in a Mediterranean climate for the last sixty years has thoroughly erased my memories of growing up on a north Missouri farm and bolting on the snow tires to get through the interminable winters. Guess everyone has a preferred climate and location from which to pursue happiness, not all of them are the same, and I found the right one for me. As Red Skelton used to say, "It just don't look right to me!"

 

If I remember correctly it was woodgrained "contact' paper.
That is the young guy sitting on the fender"s car. His Dad owned a body shop and built it for him.
We lived in the same city and that is my 62 in the post above it. That was the day I bought it in June of 1972 and I still own it.

We had one of those cars in "North Jersey Outlaws" racing group. He was Cheating Mike.

A '63 with headrests, OMG.

 

Could have been me there in ‘70.
My first car was a ‘59 that me and my dad rebuilt. Mostly my labor and dad’s money.

Cool 62 Jim but looks more like a M/P than a B/G. Doesn't matter though 62's are my favorite with a 67 BB coupe coming in a close 2nd.
