I hope one of these days we are going to get to hang that stupid sign somewhere. I think we are pulling out of the SPAM Drags. My Dad went back to church last Sunday for the first time since the pandemic closed this area down. For the past 3 and 1/2 months they have either been closed or more recently cautiously open. I think another of the Deacons from the church called him and shamed him into to going. I am not very happy about it. He says no but suddenly out of the blue he decided it was time to go back.

The following day the church reported 2 cases of Covid and shut back down for 14 days. It has been a week so I think he is fine but it scared him. He mentioned maybe Zoe and I should take the Cobra to the SPAM Drags and maybe he could go to the next event etc. We are not going anywhere without him so for now we are back in a holding pattern for the launch. We still have plenty to do to keep us busy and to report upon.

We've been struggling with church as well, as my wife is high risk. So far we are still Zooming in, even though they are back attending live.

 

Its probably for the best anyway.
I'm sure you'll find some excuse to paint it at least once more before then any way! Lol!
Seriously though, better safe than sorry.
Maybe we can get a video of it blasting down the back road until then?

Line Lock Video

 

...and I just noticed after watching the video that the lower grill portion of the car is missing the outside stripes. How in all that is holy could that happen. We spent about an hour right down in there this past weekend installing the stupid grill and never noticed it. LOL

 

Are you going to finish the stripe below the grill?

 

Nice line lock but don't you use it on the start line too to keep from rolling into or out of the lights?

 

I got bored at work today and designed this decal. The art is based on a vintage Snake Bite Kit Tin Lid I found online. I thought it would be fun to give these out (good heartedly) to the cars the "little" Cobra puts on the trailer! (IF WE EVER GET TO A DRAG STRIP!) LOL

 

Don’t worry Randall you won’t have to invest in those because we all know that ford won’t be putting anyone on the trailer lmao

Took the day off from work today...rare.
Can't say we accomplished much but did get the clutch and brakes bled again. And got to test both the nuetral safety switch and brake light switch!
