On second thought, I suspect that lengthening that classically beautiful racing style windscreen would not be considered one of my better ideas.

Excellent placement of lights. I wasn't really sold on the shape of the grille until now, that I see it with the fenders and headlights in place, it works just right. I love it.

Hey... what's going on with the grill, Gui? In one pic, the grill bars look to be on edge. In the next pic, looks like you've got them flat-side forward. Trying to decide?
Thought for a second, maybe you geniuses made them pivot similar to a Pines winter grill.

Its an optical illusion. If you look at the photo in which the bars look flat side forward you are seeing through the bars and the radiator behind them makes it seem as if the bars are flat forward, not on edge.

    Thanks, 51540bat.
I thought it might be an optical illusion, but I just couldn't see it.
Even after reading your post, I had to stare at it for a bit.
Finally... Aha... I see it now.
    Then I couldn't again.
    Then I could.
    My eyes...

    That’s right!
They are flat sided and welded fixed.

I just realized that the front fenders are stable and won't be moving when the front wheels turn.

Now we start to dismantle everything to do the paint.
I changed my mind and will paint body and chassis black and engine/wheels red.

  24. I think that is a great color combination . . . maybe paint the engine red as well and the firewall cream colored. Then maybe a cream and red pinstripe on the body. and possibly the fenders Just thinking out loud - love this project!

As always everything is perfect so feel free to ignore this suggestion. Have you ever considered a half hood to allow you to show off the awesome V-12? IMG_4916.JPG

  27. Gui, whatever color you paint it will only add to the beauty that it already is. The determination and attention to detail has shown through from the start. Please show it to us humble followers when it is done. This is a car that no matter that it was not a production vehicle shows what our ancestors did to get what they wanted. Worked for and built it.

Thanks a lot for all my fiends Hambsters for the suggestions!
I considered use a similar hide/belt system, even bought one.
But I preferred the streamlined look of the full hood front.
