It's probably a given, but would love to see it put back to the iteration in your first picture.

From what I understand, the current owner is rebuilding the car in chronological order and will eventually bring it back to its original form... Pretty cool idea.

I was the 2nd highest bidder when it was on ebay... the "no title card" and "no vin tag" in the auction description kept me from going any higher, really cool car.....

Sounds like a long and expensive proposition. Hopefully he sees it through. Will it eventually be stock again then? LOL

The Kaiser grill looks like it was designed for this car.

I was in High School in '66 and remember seeing it on a used car lot next to Hayward Ford on Mission Blvd. It was beautiful then in a Used Car special detailed kind of way. Miss the old Cruise from E14th down in to Hayward to 1/4 pounder and back

A few minor corrections, Bob did pass in a boating accident, but it was in Aug of 1965. Gene Winfield was on the lake that day. Gene was awarded the one and only Bob McNulty memorial trophy at the 1966 National Roadster Show. Gene's entry was the Reactor. Gene still has the trophy.

The Shark does have aluminum panels for the hood and the fender side scoops to facilitate the louvers. The Trunk lid was fiberglass. The Shark is alive and well and is in the process of getting the rear trunk area returned to "pre Sharkamino" version.

Bob did not marry or have children. He was engaged at one point.

The car will be close to 1959-1960 era. The car changed a lot in a short period of time, so it is difficult to pick a "correct" version. I am leaning towards 1960 Renegades car show version. It had the most scalloping and was the last show winning version prior the becoming the Sharkamino "shop truck"

This is by far my favorite look. The rake, the wheels & tires, nerf bars, the flamboyant yet restrained scallops & fins. Everything about it is perfect.
