Is this the original? I posted one like this in the 60's thread awhile back and got a couple responses. Looks great no matter if original or tribute.

Kind of a better picture.

 

I often wondered if this was the same car. My dad took this pic in 85. I took the other in Indy`s Custom Car Revival. Both were from I linios and taken at Custom Car events. Same car as the one posted a couple back.

 

How low is it???

I’m not sure that they are the same car. The blue one is a 49 Ford with the 49 only door handles and bumpers. The one from the revival has 51 door handles and bumpers. These things could have been changed but who knows. Both great cars though!

 

The whole car looks like it’s 3/4 scale and it doesn’t seem like it’s the effect of a very wide angle lens. If the guy laid down next to it, it seems like he would be from the front of the bumper to the back of the door. Hardly Cadillac-ish. Maybe I need a new eyeglass prescription.
