    Didn't realize that there were so many 4dr. Anglias (Prefects) on the drag strip.
    Only "sorta" recall one, maybe two out here in SoCal.

    not a prefect or a gasser but a different approach to using an anglia style body. my olds powered comp. coupe

    I looked hard for an Anglia or Prefect body over a decade ago to build a gasser. Then decided maybe an Austin A40 might be easier, and cheaper to locate. I ended up stumbling into an Austin A8, which is much smaller than an A40 or Prefect, and even slightly smaller than an Anglia. It was an import when new, so was setup as left hand drive already, and 100% stock. Bought it cheap, and built up as a gasser type build.
