    Those are some fantastic dealership photos ! My close friend Joe Sheppard’s family ran the most prominent sports car dealership in Tampa back in the day. Photo is of Joe and his father Jack. The Lotus won LeMans in 1956.

    Recall reading a story of a dirt track somewhere in the States. Someone brought a Ranger powered sprinter. The scream from the motor brought down fifty years of bird shit on the fans in the stand. Yikes.

    Thomson and Sachs would drive all night to ReadingPa. for a sprint car race where Thomson would win and Sachs finish third.
