    Hello,

    Oldsmobiles and So Cal were like peanut butter and jelly. They had the goodies to be fast, look great and with some traditional accessories, became a cool custom car. Lowering was done in different ways, with the cut coils being the most common. But, once given a ticket for being too low, new coils had to be ordered from the local So Cal Oldsmobile dealer.

    Some rebels used coil spring spacers to raise the car, just to clear the police inspection, then afterwards, while driving, those funky things popped out. Most took them out ASAP because of the odd angles the popped out spacers created. A manual hydraulic suspension angle that was created with missing spacers on one side was an awful ride.
