Hot Rods Bought an old hotrod 32 5W today

A friend of mine text me out of the blue this morning “hey you interested in an old chopped 32 5W? I know a guy selling one” I replied maybe and asked for details, and we agreed to meet up after work and check it out.

so it ended up being about 5 miles from my house. Very decent old hot rod, been in a barn for the past 6-7 decades. Old
Man died, family selling off his stuff. The car has no rust that I could see, nice doors, very nice chop and matching garnish, firewall, very nice grill and an OK frame. Every piece of glass is in then car. Old white top insert. The bad is, the sub rails were torched, I assume to channel it. We went back and forth a little on price and got pretty dang close to each other and I said screw it. Paid the man and loaded it up. I was prepared with my truck and cash. I’m pretty stoked, definitely was not looking for one but that’s usually when they find you.

 

Well deserved...Congratulations @Chris...any historic pics? Can't wait to see what you do to it...sitting outside...Wowie...outside here it would have been a red pile...

 

Know what Chris? You/re gonna fuck around and get into great money cars! I'm happy for you, man. You'll make a great car from it. Do you think it has enough history to bring back as it was or use it as a start to build it exactly as you want? BTW, what are the build plans for it?

Looks like 'Chris'mas came early this year! What a start, the hard part is deciding what direction to go with it. Everyone has their own idea of what the perfect Deuce looks like, what's yours?!
