Event Coverage Canfield (Ohio) Swap rescheduled

Dave & Ed’s Canfield Swap has been moved from June 12-13 to July 17-18. Nice event at a great old fairgrounds. Check it out if the Virus permits!

 

that's the regular swap meet date for july----spring canceled

 

Their website says June 12 thru 14th is still on.

 

I got an email from Dave & Ed yesterday. The State of Ohio will not allow their events to begin until (at least) July 1.

Did this happen? Did anyone go? How was it? Unfortunately, King Cuomo added Ohio to NYS list of banned states, so we were unable to go.

 

Went Saturday big crowd lots of vendors and almost No masks maybe one in a thousand or two

i went friday, hot as Hell. bought a couple tail lite lenses and a small piece for a Model A. seems to me that 30s-50s stuff is not showing up. lots more late model parts

 

Was there vending as usual..did well considering temp in low 90's. Next meet for me is Ford Carlisle July 31-Aug 2nd.

yeah, we were all looking forward to it. You do the same & stay outa the sun.

 

That's why I vend indoors when I can !
Been vending at Cumberland 24 years straight...going to miss it too, made a lot of friends there over the years.

 

I went on Saturday. I had never been there before. It was hot as hell but there were a lot of vendors and they had a good crowd. I bought a few things at decent prices, I am putting Canfield on my "don't miss" list!
