Nice looking paint work! What is the color you used to paint the motor mounts?

Thanks 270ci! Motor mounts and frame are all medium bronze powder coating! And the dark blue body paint is a custom mix! Here is my custom motor mounts for my 400 sbc motor!

I have a '31 Chevy coupe and in the middle of replacing most if not all the wood for metal. A lengthy and time consuming project I know. Question for you guys, is there a way to remove the A pillar wood piece (Roof to Floor) without cutting or damaging the existing metal body. I'm trying to keep the original paint/patina on the outside, inside not such a big deal. Looks like maybe the dash or windshield will have to come out to remove the pillar wood?.?.?

Great thread, I am glad to have found it. I just picked up a 34 Master 3 window coupe body I am getting to work on. One problem, no drivers door. Any ideas on locating one would be appreciated.

I got this on eBay and it may help you. Though not piece by piece specific or even year by year it tells how Fisher put the bodies together and more importantly for you how the Chevy repairmen fixed or replaced pieces.

HRT here are a few thoughts for locating your drivers side door! Try Hemmings Online parts, also possibly Ebay parts or 3 window coupe body! You could also check with 34 Chevrolet body fiberglass companies and just order a drivers side door! I also placed a parts wanted ad with VCCA site in any condition or possibly a 3 window master body! Yeah we all know how that VCCA knitting club members are all in rocking chairs! Hahaha! Good Luck! On the good note Chevrolet had made 7-1 Masters to Standards with these early Chevrolet cars!

Prot68, I did not run any wires through my firewall mainly to keep a clean look! Here’s my pictures with the wires going through my transmission tunnel with rubber grommets plus ran all my wires down through the inside middle along side the center hump under my floor insulation material!

Only 538 deliveries were produced in the USA for 1934, and approx. 123 in Canada.

Question: are 31 and 32 frames the same? (In general)
    Perimeter dimensions and rails?
