Technical Front shocks

I have Speedway front chrome shocks that onlly have 2 -1/2" down travel and 1- 1/2" rebound, the roads in Michigan are BAD and I 'm looking for a longer travel shock--- Help ?

 

First of all, what are you running them on? If it's a cross spring Ford, that's all the travel you need. The Deuce Factory stainless shocks on my RPU don't have even have 4" of travel total. The spring thumps the axle before the shocks bottom.

 

If its on your T , your axle " generally" only moves 1" up or down , shocks won't change that ..

 

May take a leaf out but there's only 4 And the flat steel 1/4" mount broke ?

 

Pssssssssss. That's sound when taking away tire pressure.
