In about third grade one of the farm kids brought in a bag of soy beans to school. Boy did that cause trouble.
^^^^ This kid was 13 when a buddie's dad gave us 500 rasslin' match handbills to put on cars in trade for admission. One of us hit Logger Larsen in the ear and they had to stop the match while Logger unclogged his ear & they kicked our asses out the door.
I wonder if the guy in the second picture has a volume control knob for those slacks, cause they are loud!...I think i dated the lady on the rights grand daughter ...lol ,judging by the out fit.
1947 Indianapolis 500 front row in color by Ron Rose! Excellent work as always. Ted Horn is on the pole in the Bennett Brothers Maserati. This was Wilbur Shaw's 1939, 1940 winning Maserati. Cliff Bergere has the powerful Novi in the middle spot. And, winner, Mauri Rose on the outside. Love all the bricks, and the long look down the stretch to the fourth turn, with the landmark tree on the inside of the track
