Hot Rods Tach stuck on 1300 RPM with ignition switch off.

  1. Any idea what is causing this gremlin? Daytona Instruments tach that has been in my '38 Ford pickup since about 2001 or 2002. Just looked at it today, switch off, key in my pocket, voltmeter reading zero indicating no power through the system. Lights off. Tach is reading 1300 RPM with everything off.

So what’s it do when you turn the on? Should go to zero. Does it read the correct rpm wen running?
That’s what our Auto Meter does..

  3. It stays stuck at 1300, does not move when I turn the switch on.
