I am happy to work on them and one guys owns both, he is really lucky. not the pair I dream about but they are nice too.
From the title, I thought there would be scantily clad ladies in the pictures. Nice rides all the same.
My eyeballs did a double take thing when I saw the first picture. I thought it was 2 models sitting on a table top in a shop! LOL! Then they came into focus and I realized they are two beautiful cars!
had a bad wheel bearing, needed a choke cable, there were two straight, totally unaccessible grease fittings, I swopped with forty five degree ones, an oil change and swopping out some worn lock nuts.
made the brackets and got the choke working. will take it back apart and trim and polish the brackets. new windshield seal is in and all new wheel bearings. road test today.
speaking of pairs, don't miss that nice pair of larson valve covers on that merc they look fantastic, I got a set hanging in the garage.. need to get them looking that good & on something, what a classy look !!
How about a not THAT nice of a pair ? Pic from about 5 years ago...both have been "sent down the road" ...and have moved on to the (avatar)'36 Cabriolet. Yeah, I get bored easily
What a pair!!! A Black CHOPPED MERC. and a a Black DEUCE HIGH BOY. Can you imagine those two in YOUR carage? How far up the traditionl line could you HOPE to get? WOW, the thought just blows me away. Bill
little roadster came but with a clicking while driving down the road. four bar bushings disintegrated . this is a chassis engineering front suspension and we don't know how old it is but the bushings ALL need to be changed.
Thats a real nice example of a customised Merc. Roadster seems a little confused with that running gear and a cool as Flattie.
I pulled the links for the rear and I could cut the rubber with my fingernail. ordered eight new bushings from Pete and Jakes
