The wifey and I went for a nice ride in the ole 57 today. It’s a beautiful Independence Day,VERY sunny. After we made a brief stop I noticed just how hot the black vinyl seats were! Now I’ve had a lot of convertibles, several with black interiors But I’ve never thought to actually check the temp of the seats. The concrete driveway showed 108.5 the seats were 129!!! I’m glad longer short pants are in style, the short cutoffs from way back when really hurt on those seats.
If two pigs were sitting on your seats for awhile, one would say to the other, "We are starting to smell delicious".
now that is a real HOT Rod - think about the guys with the aluminum bomber type seats that look so Cool
