Besides a new piece of crusty wall art I paid too much for, what exactly did I bring home today? 34 truck? I'm still struggling to determine all the differences in 32-34 grille shells. 20200703_002221.jpeg 20200703_002245.jpeg

'32 did not use a bullnose around the ford emblem...
    '33 did not either....
'34 used a bullnose and had a stainless grill trim...
'33 and '34 were an inch or so thicker than the '32... allows a bigger radiator...

A wealth of knowledge as always.
What's the difference between commercial and non-commercial?

'32 car and commercial were about the same size...
'32 car had an insert with [35 ?] removable steel teeth, a stainless trim, and a chromed bullnose under its emblem...
'32 commercial had a widow's peak stamped into it...
[grills with bullnoses did not have widow's peaks]
'33 car had a curved grill face with 35 teeth and was shield shaped...
'33 commercial was shaped like the '32 but bigger... but had a widow's peak stamped into it...
'33 car's leading hood edge was sculpted to match the grill...
the '33 commercial was flat across the front...
'34 comercial was shaped like '32 but also bigger...
'34 car was shield shaped with 31 teeth...
'34 commercial was flat across the front...
'34 car hood matched the sculpted grill edge...
both '34 car and commercial had stainless grill trim and had a chromed bullnose behind the emblems...
but they were different from each other...
