Haha yep pretty funny. Its actually the first four of his last name. But im thinkin it was part joke too he cant drive anymore due to alzheimers and since my wife grew up riding around the block on milk crates while they were building it, they wanted us to carry on the torch. Honestly we just want to preserve the history and carry on the traditions for our youngsters, i figured a wheeltire change was about the only thing it could use as i have more of a traditional taste. Thanks to this forum and this thread, Pops is pretty excited about the change. Thanks again fellas

I would be thrilled if someone would try their photoshop magic on my morris. Lower it 2 to3 inches delete the b pillar, add front and rear nerfs, and put on some pin whites and some 1957 Plymouth cones. Thanks ahead of time. 20200630_205705.jpg

If you want to have some cheap fun, buy a beat up MGB, swap engine, wheels and brakes and turn that thing into a hill climb monster.

If the cosmetics will be H.A.M.B.-friendly, go ahead and start a build thread. Just avoid any posts about the technical bits.

Exactly...just refer to the electrical motor as a "large generator"

If you did it up like this, I doubt anyone would complain.

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could change the red on the back of the body to blue (like it's suppoed to be). I drew this years ago and because the T-shirt design had to be done in 4-color for silk screening, I couldn't do the back of the body in blue.

(Electrics predate most of the H.A.M.B.-friendly era. Just sayin)

I can imagine this with one of the AMC 304? v-8s, a 4 speed and decent rear end. Fun stuff!

I have new rear leaf springs for this car, and am planning to put on some slightly taller rear tires. I'm trying to decide if the rear tires should be redlines like the front or just blackwall. Would really like to see the car raised up a couple inches in the rear, with a slightly taller blackwall tire (rear only) and also a redline tire in the rear, to decide which way to go.

Hey guys, I want to post this on another thread but of course I need the front wheels changed to HAMB approved. Your choice of what you think would look good.
