Took a couple of online phone photo classes and the current lesson was on using the edit feature on the phone to get better photos. I take hundreds of photos as a reference. Here’s an edited photo showing lots of detail after it was edited.
Lot's of phone photo's seem to be posted in a vertical format, is there a way to post the photo's horizontally? HRP
Hey D, Those photo apps on the phone will give most people, a simple version of detailing. But, the app it self does not know what it is looking at during the process. The green color is a click or two past the original detailed photo. Unless you have the two photos switched. But, if the photo below is the original, it is a good one. Why mess with success? The phone apps are a little limited to make the best photo possible. But, for general reference and if you use the phone photos a lot. It works well, to a point. I still use a hand held digital camera(s) with the highest MP possible, Plus a quality Leica lens or Zeiss lens. Then, if it does not come out as well as I want, I use a home computer digital editing program that gives more steps for a clear and highly detailed photo. But, even then, sometimes I catch myself going a little overboard and odd colors and blurs come into play. My phone is for emergency photos (if i can't remember a sign or numbers) and for calls/texts. Jnaki For now, your second photo shows the detail quite well. But, I ran it though my laptop program and this is what popped up: Which is which? Nice finned brakes...
There's definitely a BIG difference in the before and after photos. The edited photo does indeed make the details much easier to see. Thanks for the insight, but what was involved in the editing process? Was it a couple of quick steps?
I always edit my photos. Easy to use features allow cropping the image to fit the frame, adjust brightness, contrast, tint etc. There are all kinds of interesting effects to work with... Examples:
