image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Several months ago I posted with the heading as above "Anybody Going South" ,well got my 40 back Tuesday and couldn't be happier . I considered all my options and everyone's suggestions and went with my original plan to send it to Dale Caulfield "Weedetr Street Rod Components " at his new location in Henderson Tn. Used highly recommended Bills Auto Works had a great experience down and back . Dale and I discussed options and what result I was after , 1st the stance ,better handling ,better braking and a cruising ring and pinion , new gauge package . That list and Some other upgrades ,corrections were completed and my 40 is now a safer more enjoyable ride .Wife and I did almost 200 miles round trip Thursday a pleasure to drive and 0 problems . Can't thank Dale enough for taking care of my "ol girl" while in his shop and being concentious about the work he did .

Nice, glad you got things the way you wanted. If you don't mind me asking, what gear did you go with ? Thanks. Darin

Thank you for the accolades Dennis. It was a pleasure working with you. We found some " interesting " previous work that we took care of plus the original items that we had discussed. To all the guys that suggested he drive the car down to us, I am glad he didn't try. Whoever built the rear rear end did not know how to properly setup an early banjo and didn't bother to learn. All the bearings were shot. Thanks again Dennis, it was a pleasure.

Thank you for your reply, I bet you are really enjoying that car probably spending more time behind the wheel than ever. Nothing like lookin over the hood of a 40 Ford.
