It's for a '50s Pontiac and I think it's called a reverse flare compression fitting. 3/8 fuel line here. I could use at least 6.

Any old time hardware store should have that. Or older automotive store. Or an old plumbing supply place. Just don't go to the new fangled places like Lowes or Auto Zone.

Them are used in the ‘40 Ford fuel tank pickup line in 1/4 or 5/16 size IIRC.

Try NAPA. Look for Weatherhead 6100X4 for 1/4", 6100X5 for 5/16, 6100X6 for 3/8", etc.

This brings up a good topic, I am unaware of any old-time Mom & Pop Parts places in SE WI.
They are all corporate, lots of wiper blades & wax. But they can order stuff if you pay shipping...
I guess the numbers just don't work out in today's world? Less selection than ever :(
Few machine shops around too. A talented machinist is hard to find & pretty pricey these days.
Those guys are all dead...or working out of their own garage.

  10. Well there's your problem. You were looking on "goggler" instead of Google. . .

    Honest mistake. It's all good. . .
    ;)
